 Do you do requests?Yes, but only if I'm not busy with commissions or personal projects. However, requests come with restrictions. I will only do fanart requests of things that I am a fan of and only canon pairings or pairings that I enjoy. I will do crack pairings, such as Drapple, Watson+jam, or Mycroft+cake. If you want something that involves an OC or a pairing that I don't really care for, you'll need to commission me. I will flat out refuse to do any request that is a fetish or has adult content, whether you attempt to pay me or not. What are you willing to do for art trades?Currently, I will do art trades for custom MLP toys in the G4 generation or custom plushies in the G4 style. I'm also willing to do art trades for drawings if I like your style. Be sure to send me a note first!  What program do you use?Paint Tool SAI and Adobe Photoshop Elements 9. However, I don't use all of the tools fully. I'm still using the same tools/tricks that I used with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and the same tools that I used with Adobe Photoshop 6 from the early 2000's. What tablet do you use?It is a Monoprice tablet. The model number is WP1062-TAB10. It is 10x6.5, because I like working on a canvas that is almost as big as an actual sheet of paper. It costs somewhere between $40-$50, depending on where you buy it. It's a really nice tablet and it's a WONDERFUL alternative to Wacom, especially if you don't need buttons, touchpads, etc and just want to use the tablet for drawing and shortcut set-up. Do you do commissions? What are your prices?Yes. My commission prices are always in my displayed journal. [link] Why don't you list manga/comics in your commission prices? I thought you were interested in doing manga/comics and I have an awesome idea!I won't do any manga or comic that isn't written by me or by my husband. I'm sorry to disappoint you if you have an idea and like my art style, but I won't. Too many times I've been approached by people who like my art and want me to draw a manga based on their ideas and had them disrespect me as an artist. They want me to storyboard, sketch, lineart, color, shade, do word bubbles, and lettering for practically peanuts as payment. Not to mention character sketches and cover artwork plus artwork that divides each chapter. After all this for a price that is 1/20th of what a professional charges, most of the time they want to sell my work or host my work on a website that gains them income based on hits. They refuse to give me royalties of sales or a share of the profit from the website, saying, "But you're JUST the artist." After dealing with a few people who share that same sentiment, that I don't have rights to my work after the commission process is finished and that they can be sold willie-nillie without me profiting, I just can't. Without lawyers and official terms and conditions drawn up that would hold up in court, I will not do a comic based on another person's original idea. A fan comic or a doujinshi? Sure. But not an original idea. I've been disrespected far too much in the past not to be weary of anyone wanting to commission me to draw a comic based on their idea. And I understand that not everyone shares that sentiment, especially not everyone who would commission me to do a comic of their idea, but I can't help but have my heart sink when reading a message from someone who wants me to draw their comic. Can you make something (t-shirt, print, mousepad, mug, keychain, etc) for me and post it in your Zazzle store so I can purchase it?Yes. In fact, if you let me sell the design to other people, then I will do a design for free. If you want me to make you a private design, I'm afraid there will be a fee. The fee will depend on what item you want me to put a design on. Do you do points commissions?Occasionally, yes. However, the number of points that each commission costs is equal to the amount of real life money you would need to pay to get those points. You will not find any of my commissions under 700 points unless I'm having a sale. Why does it take you so long to get back to me? T_TI have a lot of messages in my inbox and I have social anxiety. To be honest, I want to address everyone personally instead of looking like a I copypasted the same message of thanks or otherwise over and over because I am legitimately grateful but it wouldn't seem that way because I can't think of a unique message to reply with. =/ So I'm pretty bad with putting off replies. |
